If you have received a confirmation email for an order that you did not place, please check to see if the following information is included in this email:
- The order/docket number on this email should read as '#DXXXXXXXXX'
- The payment information on this invoice should read as "Apparel 21 Payment"
- The invoice should have the current date/time of when the email was sent
If this information above is included in the email you have received, please note that this is a duplicate email from a previous purchase you have made with us in the past, and no new orders have been placed with us!
These emails can sometimes be triggered by browsing our site, logging in to your account or if you make any updates to your account at all.

How do I use my credit note?
If you were issued a credit note in-store, these can only be used in-store.
When making a purchase in-store, present your credit note to the team member to have it applied to your purchase.

PayPal is an online payment system which lets you pay for your order with a PayPal account instead of entering your card details at the checkout, thus keeping your card details private.
PayPal Pay in 4
- PayPal Pay in 4 allows you to pay for your purchase in 4 interest-free instalments.
- Your first instalment is due at the time you make your purchase. The next 3 instalments are due every 2 weeks after.
- Repayments are made automatically from your PayPal account.
How do I use PayPal?
- You will need to set up an account with PayPal which is linked to your card or bank account.
- Select PayPal as your method of payment at the checkout.
- A PayPal pop up window will allow you to enter your PayPal log-in details, where you then authorise the transaction.
- Once payment is confirmed, a confirmation page will appear along with your order number.
What are the advantages of using PayPal with my Vans order?

How do Zip single-use cards work?
Zip’s Single-Use Visa Card allows you to shop with companies that aren’t partnered with Zip.
If you wish to shop with us via Zip Pay, head to the Zip App and search for Vans. You’ll be directed to our website. When you’re ready to pay, select ‘Pay with Zip’ and a single-use card will be generated.
Returns:
If you need to return your order, your refund will be credited back to your Zip Account.

Vans does not offer price matching.
We do not price match to third-party retailers, sale prices or pricing discrepancies.

Afterpay is a simple instalment plan, allowing you to pay for your order in four equal instalments, due every fortnight!

- Use an Australian credit or debit card to make a purchase. You are not required to fill out a credit application form.

How do I use Afterpay online?
Simply choose Afterpay as your payment method at checkout. First-time customers will have to provide payment details. Any returning customers can simply log in to make their purchase. Your first payment will be taken when you place your order.
At any time, you can log in to your Afterpay account to see your payment schedule and make a payment before the due date. Otherwise, Afterpay will automatically deduct the instalments from your debit or credit card every fortnight.

Using Afterpay in-store is easy! Open your Afterpay App to view your available-to-spend balance. Select “Pay with Afterpay Card” and you’ll automatically be taken to your Afterpay Card in your digital wallet.
At the checkout, tap the Afterpay Card to pay. You’ll be shown your payment schedule when your purchase is complete.

How do I return an Afterpay purchase online?
Afterpay orders placed online can be returned online or in-store.
Take a look at our Returns Policy to make sure your items meet our three main conditions.
When your refund is processed, Afterpay will send you an email and make the necessary adjustments to your payment schedule.
If you return your order in full and receive a full refund, any paid payments will be refunded back onto the card you paid on, and any upcoming payments will be cancelled.
If you return part of your order and receive a part refund, any previous payments will be adjusted and any difference refunded back onto your card. Upcoming payments will be adjusted or cancelled depending on your situation.

How do I return an Afterpay purchase in-store?
Returning Afterpay purchases in-store is easy. First, take a look at our Returns Policy to make sure your items meet our three main conditions.
When you’re in-store, open your Afterpay app and access your Afterpay card in your Profile tab. Select ‘Return an Order’ and then ‘Refund with Afterpay Card’ which will launch the screen to select Apple Pay or Google Pay. Select your Afterpay Card and tap against the reader.
Alternatively, you can select ‘Orders’, open transactions and locate the transaction. Click ‘Return an Order’ and tap the card reader to initiate your refund.
You’ll be notified that your refund has been successful and adjustments will be made to your payment schedule.
If you return your order in full and receive a full refund, any paid payments will be refunded back onto the linked card you paid with, and any upcoming payments will be cancelled.
If you return part of your order and receive a part refund, any previous payments will be adjusted and any difference refunded back onto your card. Upcoming payments will be adjusted or cancelled depending on your situation.

Exchanges can be facilitated in-store for items of the same value only.
Refunds must be initiated via the Afterpay App. They cannot be initiated via the Digital Wallet.

Why can't I check out?

Unfortunately, there are online scams that may use the Vans name and a similar looking website as a means of obtaining your personal and/or banking details. It's highly likely that you will never receive any product from this website. We recommend the following steps.
Next steps:
- Reach out to your bank immediately to discuss how you can lodge a 'chargeback' and reclaim any funds that you've spent.

Tips on detecting a scam website:

I have accidently placed a double order, can I cancel one?
If you have accidently placed a double order, or experienced a glitch at the checkout leaving you with two orders - we're unable to cancel an order once it's been placed.
From here, the best option would be to return one order, either in-store or online once you receive your item(s), you can return them in accordance with our Returns Policy.
If you have just placed your order, you can contact us via Live Chat to see if we can have one order cancelled before it is sent, but this cannot be guaranteed as there is a very small window of time for this.

How do I get a tax invoice for my online order?
A tax invoice will be emailed to you, along with your order confirmation, shortly after you place your order online.
You can save this email as a pdf, or print it if a hard copy is required.

Can I purchase a gift card online?
Yes, we sell online Vans gift cards! Whether it's for yourself or someone else, we've got you covered.
Online gift cards are a quick and easy way to send a present to someone, with little effort!
Once you purchase a digital gift card, we'll send it to the email address you've nominated. You can choose the value of the gift card and it will be redeemable online and in-store.
How to purchase an online gift card:
1. Click this link to start the purchase journey
2. Select the design, quantity and value before selecting 'Add to Cart'
3. Select 'Checkout'
4. Enter your contact details and delivery address (either your own or the recipient's email address) and payment details
5. You will receive an order success message with your order number
6. A tax invoice will be emailed to the purchaser and the Gift Card recipient (email address used as the delivery address) will receive an email where they can download the gift card
To redeem online: Enter your Gift Card number and PIN at the checkout.
To redeem in-store: Present your Gift Card on your mobile device.

How can I use a gift card online?
A Vans Gift Card can be used online for full or partial payment of an order.
In the final stage of the secure checkout, select the “Apply Gift Card” under 'Payment Information'. This will expand and the necessary section to fill in the Gift card number and PIN will appear. Once the numbers have been entered simply click Apply.
If the Gift Card balance covers the entire order you will be able to place the order. If there is a remaining balance to pay simply scroll down and choose another payment method (PayPal, Credit Card, Afterpay).

What are the gift card terms & conditions?
A Vans Gift Card is always the perfect gift. Late night on the couch or day off downtown works for any shopping spree.
Vans Gift Cards can be purchased in-store and online and are redeemable at any Vans retail store in Australia or online at https://www.vans.com.au/.
The Gift Card value must be between $20 and $999.
Gift Cards are valid for 3 years from the issue date, or until no amount remains on the Gift Card.
Any balance that remains on the Gift Card after expiry will not be available for use.
Gift Cards cannot be exchanged (wholly or partly) for cash, reloaded, topped up or used to purchase other Gift Cards.
The value shown on a Gift Card includes GST.
Gift Cards are partially redeemable and any unused balance can be used for future purchases up to the expiry date.
Gift Cards should be treated like cash.
Lost or stolen Gift Cards will not be replaced or refunded.
Items purchased using Gift Cards that are subject to our returns or refunds policy will be refunded as store credit. We reserve the right to issue you with a new Gift Card equivalent to the value of your refunded Gift Card purchase.

What is the Back To School NSW voucher program?
The NSW Government has launched the Back To School Program, which is to help support families with purchasing school supplies.
These vouchers are only valid in-store, and cannot be redeemed or used online.
Important Details / Conditions:
- Families can apply for 3 x $50 vouchers ($150) per child
- Vouchers can be used until 30th June 2023
- These vouchers are ONLY valid IN-STORE
- Vouchers are to be used on 'Back to School' products ONLY

Why has my order been cancelled?
We aim to fulfil every order placed on our website, however, if your order has been cancelled or refunded this may be due to:
- The item is not available/not in good condition.
If your item(s) have been cancelled, this could be due to stock unavailability, or your item was not in satisfactory condition to be sent out. If this happens, you will receive an email indicating that a particular item you ordered is out of stock and you will be refunded the amount you paid for the item(s). - An error in the listing of the item.
Although rare, if an item on our site is listed with an incorrect price, product description or photo, your order may be cancelled. - Our system has flagged your order for security reasons.

The item I want is sold out, will there be a restock?
Yes, we occasionally receive restocks of short-run releases, however, we unfortunately won't be able to inform you if and when, we will be restocking in a specific style.
We recommend that you take advantage of our current in-stock range, and keep up to date with new releases and restocks by joining our mailing list. Simply scroll to the bottom of our website and enter your email address. You can also keep watch on our social media channels.
Additionally, you can add the style or size to your Wish List. Create an account and click the heart icon on the product page and you will be notified if we get a restock.
Please note: that we don't have a preorder system and are unable to place single unit orders for sold out items.
